European Cross Trades
As we have an established hub in Slovenia, we are able to offer very competitive rates on European cross-trade freight forwarding. We have current contracts for cargo shipments between Albania, Italy and the Balkan States, and between Italy, France and Croatia.
We can provide driver-accompanied full load services on most routes to and from Western and Eastern Europe. This involves dedicating trucks exclusively for a shipper's cargo, whether dry, hazardous or temperature controlled. Typical routes might be Milan to Moscow, London to Kiev, Hamburg to Pristina, Gibraltar to Skopje, Limerick to Bucharest.
Case Study: Italy
John Shirley has pioneered the use of tried and trusted East European hauliers in loading from North East Italy to Northern Europe. This service was started in 1999 and flourished as the company encouraged more and more hauliers to obtain the relevant permits. We are now able to provide considerable capacity to and from destinations such as: Udine; Vicenza,; Treviso,; Venice; Bolzano and Verona.
We have regular bookings from customers seeking to maximize use of our high volume 95m³ and 120m³ vehicles. Our service is that of a well organized highly experienced forwarder, with drivers in communication by mobile phone or satellite communication.
As the bulk of the vehicles transit via Austria, where emission standards are rigorous, the majority of trucks that we use are of the very latest designs ensuring that goods arrive clean and dry whether the delivery is in Paris, London or Glasgow.
